GRONEN Conferences offer a unique opportunity to develop an international network of scholars interested in the natural environment and management, and a special environment to promote personal interactions. All the GRONEN Conferences pay a very special attention to encourage a very friendly environment to develop critical progresses in our research. High rigor, relevance, and friendly environment are always three distinctive notes of the GRONEN conferences.
The objectives of the GRONEN meetings are to provide background orientation of extant research and generate ideas about potential future developments of the research on the topic of organizations and the natural environment. The focus includes topics that are underdeveloped in extant research, theoretical views with potential for generating novel contributions in the future, organizational phenomena and activities yet to be examined or analyzed in-depth, and predictions about future trends. Experts are always requested to embed their contributions theoretically to highlight gaps in extant research and paths for future contributions.
GRONEN Conferences are held every two years. So far, we have always used European locations to complement the traditional ONE conference in North America. We are proud of organizing small conferences (usually with one session track) that help to create a friendly community. After Granada (Spain), Saint Gallen (Switzerland), Nicosia (Cyprus), and Milan (Italy), Marseille (France) will host 2012 GRONEN Conference.
